Finally after many months of preparation and many long hours of practice by the choir, the night has arrived for the event. The concert has been sold out for over a month, with a long waiting list for those without tickets! The choir, wonderfully lead by Evelyn Sutherland, went through their Christmas program and delivered a stella performance, which was warmly received and appreciated by the enthusiastic audience. This performance was brilliantly complimented by the Sound Appeal Handbells with their unique and charming renditions. Ultimately it was a fantastic night that will live long in the memory. Whilst it was very emotional at times, it was also an entirely fitting tribute to Linda and great thanks and praise goes to all concerned; the Choir, the Handbells, numerous helpers and the generous people who contributed on the night or on-line donations. A very heart felt and sincere thank you from me and my family to everybody involved in the concert.
